The Caithness is an impressive-looking, robust high quality cast iron fire basket which will enhance the look of your fireplace and comes in a black and polished chrome finish. This includes an ash cover to hide the optional ash tray (see related products below) It's design is relatively simple, yet it will provide a superb functional feature for your fireplace. As with most of the fire baskets in our solid fuel fire range it is suitable for burning coal, smokeless fuel, logs etc. As with all open fires, it is important to use a fire guard especially when the room is not occupied.
