The Heavyside like all our metal bunkers  is made from galvanised steel (22/24 g) and supplied flat-packed.  As with all our galvanised coal bunkers, it has an extremely solid base, and features a small door on the front face to allow easy access to your fuel.  Above the door is a 'deflector', which prevents the build-up of coals against the door.  This product is designed for everyday use, so is strong, robust and highly durable.

Please note the 400 kg capacity is based on ordinary domestic coal  other fuels do vary in size so it is best to contact your fuel supplier with the dimensions of this bunker to clarify how much of the fuel you use it will take. Please note -- Bunkers are self assembly and easily put together. We would advise the following -----always ensure all the seams are locked together correctly when assembling your bunker .If the ends of the seams are flattened during transit please open them with a screwdriver for easier assembly.The seams slide tightly into each other to ensure the bunker does not bulge open when filled with fuel.
